Frequently asked questions

Yes. In France you must submit a SIPSI declaration, and in Germany you must register via the Meldeportal at zoll.de. Both must be completed before work begins.

Yes. French law requires appointing a representative regardless of the number of workers. The representative must be available throughout the posting period. Germany does not require a local representative.
MiLoG (Mindestlohngesetz) is the German minimum wage law. You must document that posted workers earn at least the German minimum wage and keep records at the workplace for 2 years.
The BTP card is mandatory only for workers in the construction sector (BTP — Bâtiment et Travaux Publics). It is not required in other industries.
The A1 certificate confirms that the worker is covered by their home country's social insurance system and does not need to pay contributions in the host country. It is required for both France and Germany.
